The flagship event of the Association for the Development of Education in Africa (ADEA), the 2017 Triennale, initially scheduled to take place in Marrakech, the Kingdom of Morocco from March 14-17, 2017, will now take place in the Republic of Senegal under the high patronage of Macky Sall, President of the Republic of Senegal and Lead Champion for the Committee of Ten Champion African Heads of State on Higher Education, Science and Technology.
The dates of the ADEA Triennale remain the same.
The new venue which will host the ADEA 2017 Triennale in Senegal will be the Abdou Diouf International Conference Center (CICAD) in Diamniadio, approximately 30 kilometres from Dakar.

The change of venue has been facilitated by the mutual fraternal agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco and the Government of the Republic of Senegal.
